EASTSIDE SUITES, UNIVERSITY OF NEBRASKA LINCOLN

LINCOLN, NE  

UNL Eastside Suites is the newest housing building on the University of Nebraska Lincoln campus.  It sits on the furthermost East edge of campus directly adjacent to the Antelope Valley roadway, a major thoroughfare that connects the historical city center to northern Lincoln as well as UNL’s Innovation Campus.  The University was interested in setting their housing project apart from adjacent non-university housing projects, providing an interesting viewpoint into a 5- story glass corner from the Antelope Valley roadway that is lit 24/7 and branding the UNL product with a connection to the global universe.  i.e.Design, with the help of a local graphic designer, created a 5-story graphic wallcovering that reads as one image from the Antelope Valley roadway.  The project adds a unique story to the housing project both from the exterior as well as from each floor of the interior.
